Terry’s talk will explain Camera RAW and Adobe DNG covering what they mean, their advantages and disadvantages, workflow, and non-destructive image editing. It will demonstrate workflow with Adobe Camera RAW in Bridge, Photoshop and Lightroom.

Gérard Rancinan is a French photographer with a highly successful career spanning nearly 50 years. His very large-scale and meticulous studio portraits and live scenes provide a sharp, tender, and highly personal commentary on our world. His work – often produced with his long-term collaborator Caroline Gaudriault – is exhibited in galleries and installations worldwide, published in high quality books, and sold to public and private art collections.
The talk will present images from the book “The Photographer”, portraits from his early career, allegories of our modern world from his recent exhibitions, and a fly-on-the-wall look at the creation of two of his most iconic photographs.

This is an opportunity for the members to meet up and raise funds for the Club by bringing along your unwanted items, photographic or otherwise for our Auctioneer, Len, to sell. The Auction will take place in the large hall, so we will have plenty of space. If you would like to put a reserve on any of your items, please let us know when you arrive. All profits will go to the Club unless you have an item you would like to sell with a 20% commission going to the Club again please let us know when you arrive.
There will also be a demonstration on print mounting (mount board is available to be purchased from the Club).
For this meeting please bring along your own refreshments as the items at the Club room are approx 2 years out of date.
So please bring along you goodies and plenty of pocket money. Paypal / contactless options will be available.
