Roger Hance – Nature in Macro Photography

Roger has been involved in photography for over 30 years, most of that with Ipswich and District Photographic Club. He enjoys all types of photography, including nature, landscape and portraiture.

His excellent nature talk covered a diverse range of nature-based subjects, he also covered his photography equipment he uses for his images, in particular his move to lighter micro four thirds system after being a long standing full frame Canon user.

Roger explained many tried and tested hints and tips, his use of macro lenses, how to get close to subjects, focus stacking and photographing different nature subjects such as fungi, moths, butterflies, wasps, orchids, newts, and how he benefits from the Pro Capture feature of his Olympus camera.
